About

St. Joseph, Missouri, United States / August 12, 2026

Jason Faulkner lay back on an incline bench at a gym in St. Joseph, Missouri, and took a pair of 100-pound dumbbells through 20 incline flies in one unbroken set. Filmed from beside the bench, the clip shows the bells opening out from above his chest and closing back together on every rep, with the 100 stamp readable on the near dumbbell late in the set. RecordSetter counted the reps in the continuous 41-second video, where one more rep stalls at the bottom and he sets the weights down. Flies hold the whole load out on nearly straight arms, so a hundred pounds a hand is far beyond what most lifters ever try.

Rules

- Each dumbbell must weigh 100 pounds, and the weight must be readable on camera during the attempt.
- The lifter lies on an incline bench and starts with the dumbbells together above the chest, palms facing in.
- Each fly lowers the dumbbells out to the sides in a wide arc until the upper arms are parallel with the floor, then sweeps them back together above the chest.
- Elbows stay slightly bent throughout. Bending them to about 90 degrees turns the fly into a press, and those reps do not count.
- One continuous set with no time limit. The set ends when the dumbbells are put down.
- Video must be continuous and unedited, with the dumbbells in view for the whole set.
