Jake Bronstein took bar patrons by surprise while setting a new world record for most strangers’ drinks sipped out of in 15 seconds (5). He used a plastic straw to set the record, and swears he didn’t know any of the people whose drinks he took sips from.
Bronstein performed the feat on November 24, 2008 at the World Record Appreciation Society’s first-ever event. It was held at Asia Roma, a karaoke bar in New York City. Organizers Corey Henderson and Dan Rollman were on hand to witness and document the achievement.
