Over two straight years of living in New York City, Cathy Erway ate out at restaurants only 12 times. Frustrated with restaurant culture and living on a limited budget, she made a pact with herself to prepare her meals at home. BBQ legend Clint Cantwell built a s’more from scratch that was 10.2" in height. Cantwell used graham crackers, Hershey’s chocolate and a combination of marshmallows and marshmallow fluff to assemble it, and a small blowtorch to heat the ingredients. He dictated it had to stand alone without any support or assistance in order for the record to count. Schacht Elf had 34 eggs thrown at him in 10 seconds.

Wyatt Accardi smushed 63 grapes with his hands in one minute, a new world record. To get an accurate count, 81 grapes were counted beforehand. When the minute was complete, 18 unsmushed grapes remained. Accardi performed the feat on April 4, 2009 at the first annual Brooklyn World Record Day in Brooklyn, New York. In homage to his love of food, Colin Nissan sets a new universal record by opening a can of Campbell’s Alphabet Soup and spelling out ‘PANTYHOSE’ in one minute, 25.77 seconds. Nissan set the record on January 7, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City. He opened a standard size (10.5 ounces) pop top lid can, strained the letters, and then spelled out ‘PANTYHOSE’ using letters from the soup. Doug Mcmanaman balanced a 40-pound turkey on his chin for 8.34 seconds. The turkey was placed on top of a dish that was fixed to a 3-foot pole.

Grant C. transferred 11 Triscuit crackers from his forehead into his mouth without using his hands.

Craig Morrison poured egg nog into Sam Stilson’s mouth from a height of 184 centimeters (72.4 inches). Morrison set the record during a live taping Breakfast Television in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
