At the Zappos.com Bay to Breakers road race in San Francisco, California, 50 people set a world record for Largest Shoelace Tying Circle.

- all participants stand in a circle wearing laced shoes
- participants must begin attempt with their right shoes untied
- participants must tie up the shoe of the person on their left
- all shoes must be tied at the same time
- must follow form of current world record holder
- must provide video evidence
