About

Calgary, Alberta, Canada / October 25, 2026

Stefan Popovic completed nine one-handed rear delt flies on a selectorized gym machine in Calgary, Canada, with the pin in the bottom plate of the 300-pound weight stack. Seated facing the machine with his left hand braced in front, he swept his right arm out to the side and back for each rep, lifting the full stack off its rest nine times in one set. Review of the uploaded video counted every lift, three more than his earlier mark of six.

Rules

- Must use a selectorized rear delt fly machine with the weight stack set to 300 pounds; the weight is the machine's indicated stack setting, not a free-weight equivalent.
- Must remain seated facing the machine and use the same working hand throughout the set.
- Each fly must move the working arm outward to the side and return the handle to its starting position, following the form demonstrated in the original attempt.
- The non-working hand may brace the body but must not help move the working handle or lift the weight stack.
- Repetitions must be completed in one set; the set ends when the working handle is released or the performer leaves the seat.
- Must provide video evidence showing the repetitions and identifying the selected weight.
