Clint Poore bench pressed a barbell weighing 425 pounds. Clint's body weight at the time of the attempt was 210 pounds.

NOTE: Weightlifting with extreme weight should not be attempted without proper precautions.

- record setter must weight no more than 210 pounds
- must lift weight unassisted
- must touch chest with weight and press to lockout
- must lift weight raw (without the aid of a bench press shirt)
- must provide video evidence

    Mr Mendelson's record is an incredible feat but his bodyweight was between 275 and 300 lbs. After viewing some other records I believe it would be best to add the stilpulation that the lifter must weigh less than 210 lbs, because I weighed 210. In addition to there will always be stronger and better lifters it is simply a matter of who is willing to take the time and effort to share it on the New Home of World Records......RECORDSETTER!
