About

Las Vegas, Nevada, United States / October 22, 2026

Mark Farhat pressed 818 pounds for 12 consecutive reps on a plate-loaded 45-degree leg press at a Planet Fitness in Las Vegas, Nevada, at age 70. Filmed from the side in one continuous 47-second take, every rep runs from knees bent to about 90 degrees up to nearly straight legs, with his hands on the seat handles the whole way. RecordSetter counted the reps from the video; the 818 pounds is his stated total for the loaded sled, and his date of birth was confirmed privately. By the usual rep-max formula, that set points to a single press well past 1,100 pounds.
