Matt Piper, Gareth Jones, and Lloyd Jones set off from London (England) and drove to Cardiff (Wales), Dublin (Ireland), Belfast (Northern Ireland) and finally Edinburgh (Scotland) in 23 hours and 10 minutes, a new world record.

This feat was achieved on April 3, 2009. Piper, Jones, and Jones took the drive as a fundraiser for the British Red Cross on behalf of their organization, Wendy’s Appeal.

NOTE: This record is dangerous and should only be attempted by trained professionals.

    I really appreciate and congratulating the title owner. I don't personally encourage people to try this out to break the record as it is really dangerous for you. Driving with excess speed is really harmful so better to avoid such situations and drive slow and be safe.

  • Matthew.... You need to get your facts right: Our time was officially 23 hours 10 minutes (left london at 19.45 on the 3rd April, finished in edinburgh at 18.55 on the 4th April). You're doing us out of 10 minutes everywhere you publish this!!! Cheers, G
