About

Durham, County of Durham, England / November 3, 2026

Sam Edney closed 10 Google Chrome tabs in 1.32 seconds at a computer lab desk in Durham, England, keeping his cursor parked on a single close button and clicking as each tab slid into place under it. In the phone video he smiles for the camera, turns to the screen, and the tab bar empties in one burst until only his stopwatch tab is left. RecordSetter timed the run frame by frame, from the first tab disappearing to the tenth. Sam says he kept practicing while his friends went partying, and the celebration at the end of the clip says it was worth it.
