how much does that bar weigh without plates on it bud? its like you're retarded or some thing

    • United States Jason A Faulkner

All smith machine bars are 45 pounds Adam. They seem weight less cause you don't have to balance like using free weight. If you take apart the machine and weight the actual bar it weights 45 pounds.

Ya...if you take apart the machine. How much does it weigh when machine is assembled'!?

    • The Internet Nathan Guthrie

Most smith machines are counter balanced to 15 pounds.
