    No doubt you need a decent amount of strength and endurance to do this but it's a strange record. I would not call this a "leg press". Maybe call it a "knee bend". The anger you see here comes from what you are calling it, because it is most definitely not a true leg press. Call it a knee bend and no one can have an issue with it. However following the guidelines of this video, I would imagine there are thousands of lifters who could do this.

      A record can not be considered legit without proper form. I give you credit for doing so many reps of a high weight which takes a lot of endurance. But to be considered a legitimate record by any community that knows anything about weight lifting you would need to work on your form and have a full range of motion. My best is 1035 lbs. one rep max in which my thighs were perpendicular to the floor. I think I probably still need to work on my form because, I believe a body builder would say proper form is to have you thighs touch you chest. Keep up the good work and practice your form and in no time you will have an undebatable record. Cheers and good luck
