The intent was for the robot to decorate the entire top of the cupcake, but due to an unfortunate technical glitch, it didn’t perform as anticipated. Brendan Larrabee of Brookline, Massachusetts boldly sets a record by solving a Rubik’s Cube while sleeping a yo-yo in just three minutes, 36.68 seconds. Timing began when Larrabee began sleeping the yo-yo, and finished when he brought it back up to his hand after solving the Cube. The record was set on August 8, 2008 at the International Yo-Yo Open in New York City. Larrabee used a YoYoFactory eight8eight yo-yo and a mini 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube. Witnesses were Talia Ledner and Dan Rollman. #YOYO01
