Sean Welsh completed 131 finger-ups while wearing a 30 gram finger weight in 30 seconds, a new world record. Welsh wore the 30 gram weight between the first and middle knuckle on his right index finger. The record was set on June 18, 2009 in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Monica Welsh was present as a witness.

Taylor Jones named 35 Black Eyed Peas songs in 20 seconds, a new world record. Songs named included ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’, ‘Let’s Get It Started’, and ‘Pump It Up’. Jones set the record on June 27, 2009 in Miami, Florida. Ricky Jones was present as a witness.

Lane George sent a text message using a first generation iPhone in 2.5 seconds, a new world record. George set the record on June 27, 2009 in Woodstock, Georgia. Kristin Grecco was present as a witness.

Brian Jay walked through a gate and latched it 12 times in 30 seconds a new world record. He passed throught the gate 13 times, but failed to make a complete latch once. Jay set the record on June 28, 2009 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Justin Kay was present as a witness.

Bre Pettis of MakerBot Industries built a robot that frosted a cupcake in 52.27 seconds. The intent was for the robot to decorate the entire top of the cupcake, but due to an unfortunate technical glitch, it didn’t perform as anticipated. Radio host Paul Van Sickle named 35 Gaither Vocal Band songs in 30 seconds, a world record. Van Sickle noted the songs were all written by Bill and/or Gloria Gaither. Radio host Paul Van Sickle ate a Big Momma’s Cinnamon Roll in 19 minutes, 52.32 seconds, a new world record. The roll measured 9 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height. Corey and Autumn Pottratz got married in six minutes and 36 seconds, a new world record. Their ceremony was cut short due to rain. The record was set on July 7, 2007 in Westminster, Colorado. Laura Huffman was present as a witness.

Mike Gamble drank a full bottle of beer through a cocktail straw while shredding on the B string of his electric guitar in 58.25 seconds. His bandmate helped refill the glass while the record was being set. Gamble performed the feat on July 14, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City.
