About

Los Angeles, California, United States / October 6, 2015

Zoilo Adalia was 11 years old on October 6, 2015, when the free online learning platform Alison awarded a certificate for its course Understanding the Ebola Virus and How You Can Avoid It. In a phone screen recording, Zoilo opens the certificate with that name and award date, then follows its verification link to Alison's own learner verification page, which confirms the course, the completion date and a 95% score on the final assessment. Zoilo's stated date of birth, September 4, 2004, puts the age that day at 11 years and one month. At an age when most kids are dodging homework, Zoilo passed a course on dodging Ebola.
