I am gonna try to break the record. It's so easy I can even do it blindfolded.

  • United States Finn Sposato

I back trying to beat it again

  • Australia Kim Lawson

I'm gonna give this another try Doug :-)

  • United States Emily Patricia

Doug! You should try to beat this!

  • Canada Doug McManaman

thanks Brian how did you know i sent 2 videos in for just that.

  • The Internet Tony Sposato

Excellent job Doug I'm going to try to beat it this week

  • Australia Kim Lawson

Excellent effort Doug. 24 rolls is a tough record to beat but I'm sure both Finn and I will have a good go at breaking it.

In the words of the Highlander - "There can be only one!"

Stay tuned, I'm sure this record will be broken - eventually :-)

awesome Doug. you have to do most tp on chin record next.

  • Canada Doug McManaman

I would like to congratulate Finn on extending this record to 21. AS I STARTED THIS RECORD i HAD TO FIND OUT IF I COULD EXTEND IT MORE. I have taken it to 24 rolls and i would like Finn to try and break this. This will be my last time to do this record so Finn if you can extend it the record is yours. If you dont break it you still have had a great training session with a world record holder with almost 400 records. You are only young and this training will help you greatly in the coming years . good luck Finn hope you can do it .

Tony's commentary would make 75% of the shows on television more interesting. Congratulations Finn!

    Amazing, Finn! Congratulations!

  • Australia Kim Lawson

Great effort Finn, I knew you could do it

  • Canada Doug McManaman

Hi Finn I know that you are disappointed by the decision of the moderators but these are world records and the criteria must be the same for everyone. I hope you will make more record attempts and wish you the best . Doug

  • The Internet Tony Sposato

I apologize for my son's comments.

  • The Internet Tony Sposato

I hate you like i'm just a little kid and I bet you did that just because a nine year old broke your record.Finn out:(

After careful review, we have decided to deny Finn's attempt citing unfollowed rule. Video evidence shows that the toilet paper's size is different from the original record setter's and thus affecting effectiveness of balance. We are giving the record back to Kim Lawson but encouraging Finn as well to try it again. Thanks everyone

If it were that easy to stack them, which appears the case in the video, don't you think Doug and I would have done it? - especially if we used the same rolls you guys have used.

A standard toilet roll, which is what it is called, is 4.0" x 4.0" (or 10.2 x 10.2 cm's). As you can see by all other attempts, these rolls were used (including the denied attempt at 15 rolls which was denied because the attempt wasn't filmed).

From what you are saying, that attempt should have counted, but it didn't because rules weren't followed.

Sure, we all like seeing youngsters set records, and it was a good attempt, but when a different product is used which is outside the rules - it doesn't count.

The decision whether to deny or keep a record is up to RecordSetter and I will respect the decision they make. If the decision is for Finn to keep his record, no problems, just let me know the dimensions and brand of your rolls and I'll go get some - after all, that is fair right!

  • The Internet Finn Sposato

They are the rolls we have in our home and use every day. Pretty standard if you ask me. Have you ever been to the market? Toilet paper comes in all shapes and sizes, "standard" is a pretty loose term. You boys should relax and enjoy this for what it is. Simple fun. We had a great time watching our 9yr old break the record yesterday and we are proud of him for taking the initiative, collecting the TP and urging us to post it. I wish you the best in your future attempts.

  • Canada Doug McManaman

nice try but your rolls are not standard size

  • Australia Kim Lawson

That's a good effort Tony, but I'm afraid I have to initiate a protest. The toilet rolls that you have used are shorter and rounder (Jumbo or Mini Jumbo rolls), which is a breach of the record criteria *must use standard toilet paper rolls.

ha ha i may have to cut hole in my ceiling congrats to you Kim if i can i will try this again

  • United States Emily Patricia

Nice, Kim! Maybe next time you can turn the TV off in the background? I can hear it more than you :-P

  • Australia Kim Lawson

    Well done Doug

  • Australia Kim Lawson

    Thanks Doug.

I have only made 1 attempt at your record, not 3 as it shows. I had trouble uploading the video so I tagged my youtube video link into the comments. I don't know how long it takes it verify the attempt but I hope what I have provided is sufficient evidence.

Doug M - the man with the heart of gold!

  • Australia Kim Lawson
