About

New Orleans, Louisiana, United States / June 28, 2025

Joshua Dean wrote, directed, shot, and starred in "Popsicle World," a 3-hour, 32-minute, and 38-second narrative feature film — all by himself. The mixed-media epic blends live action, animation, and handmade puppetry into a surreal, one-of-a-kind cinematic experience. It's DIY filmmaking taken to the extreme.
