Kolkata, West Bengal, India / October 25, 2026

Subhadeep Bandyopadhyay of Kolkata, India, checkmated the computer in Wild Chess, a mode of the Chess Prince mobile app, while 116 points of material ahead. His screen recording, with his face on camera in the corner, plays three Royal Arrows games back to back, and in the last one he starts from the layout's even setup of 11 queens a side, strips Black down to almost nothing but its king, promotes a pawn on move 24 and mates with the new queen. The move numbers climb from 1 to 24 without ever stepping back, and the app's material counter reads +116 on the win screen. Eleven queens a side at the start, and by move 24 the scoreboard only went one way.
