Francis L. scored eight strikes in 30 seconds while bowling.

- must change lanes after each strike
- must use standard ten-pin bowling lanes
- may only use four bowling lanes
- timing starts when record setter throws first ball
- last ball must be thrown within time limit, but final strike may occur after time is complete
- foot faults disqualify strikes
- must provide video evidence

    Insert Lebowski reference here.

Why do the balls look so small? Is the video just deceiving that way?

I believe this is duckpin bowling, a popular version of bowling in Quebec: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duckpin_bowling

Francis, c'est vrai? If yes, I think we should alter the title of the record and rules to reflect that.

Where are you guys writing from? You don't have this kind of bowling in your town/states/province/country?

I don't really know what's the professional name cause here in Quebec most of people just call it small bowls or big bowls but it's not duckpins, i think it's the same bowl but the pins are slimmer than duckpins

Ahh, yes, it seems like this is "duckpin" as opposed to traditional "ten-pin". I've also played "candlepin" in New England. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duckpinbowling and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candlepinbowling
