A total of 55 people dressed as zombies performed a Zombie Crawl at the First Mahoning Valley Drive-In Theatre Zombie Crawl and Movie Marathon in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. The performance was filmed in 3D video. Read more about the feat here.

This year’s Social Good Summit sparked a record-setting global conversation on using social media and technology for good. The summit united people participating online and in-person in nearly 300 cities, including New York, Beijing, and Nairobi, around one goal: unlocking the potential of social media and technology to make the world a better place. The gathering took place as world leaders gathered to kick-off the UN General Assembly, opening the dialogue about world issues and challenges to a global constituency They set the record during the Social Good Summit 2012, a three-day conference about new ideas and innovative solutions, in New York City. The Austrian National Tourist Office selected a group of 34 men and women to be Austria Dirndl Ambassadors and show off traditional Austrian dress. A member of The Omega Force Strength Team deadlifted 18 people at once, an approximate total weight of more than 1500 pounds. He set the record during Camp Chautauqua in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Clare Brooks and 28 of her family members sang the Penguin campfire song. They set the record for her older sister's 30th birthday at their summer family vacation in Door County, Wisconsin.

Dressed in a banana suit, Alex Clayton led 96 people in dancing to March of the Mods.

A total of 73 people gathered to set the record for largest group hug in a tent. The huggers ranged in age from 4 to 70 years old. The record was set as part of Hug-A-Thon Pittsburgh.

Led by Josh Berk, a total of 35 young adult authors read Touched by Cyn Balog at once. The record was set during the 2012 YA Festival at the Easton Area Public Library in Easton, Pennsylvania.

A total of 300 campers from iD Tech Camp - Stanford University performed "the wave".

Avalon Theisen, 11-year-old founder of Conserve It Forward, led 327 people in attempting the world record for the world's Largest Human Frog Chorus. They set the record to raise awareness for amphibian conservation issues and solutions. Read more about the feat here.
