People World Records  

The Relay For Life of Bergen Beach, Mill Basin & Marine Park organized an outdoor zumba class with 507 participants as part of Superhero Day at the Coney Island Ballpark hosted by The Brooklyn Cyclones Baseball Team. They set the record to raise cancer awareness and money for the benefit of Relay For Life and American Cancer Society.

A total of 40 people attended a pajama party at Strathmore Municipal Library in Alberta, Canada.

Five students from SPK Schools in Namakkal, India created a paper cup mosaic measuring 12 meters wide and 12 meters long. Dr. S.Prabu Kumar, chairman of the school institution, organized the record.

At the Zappos.com Bay to Breakers road race in San Francisco, California, 16 people set a world record for Largest Potato Chip Sharing Circle. A total of 1,500 people with their puppets marched through Lincoln Park to the Capitol in Washington, D.C. on November 3, 2012. They set the record to show support for continued public funding of public media. Read more about the feat here.

Jessi Arrington led 179 people together to form the world's largest rainbow parade, which marched across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. The record was set as part of RecordSetter World Record Day and was adjudicated by RecordSetter officials Dan Rollman and Emily Miethner. #WorldRecordDay2012

A total of 1,600 students participated in a reading lesson held at Southwest High School in San Diego, California. The event was organized by Yuriy Seretskiy and The Symbol of Success LLC to help improve the US educational system.

Students and staff members at Indu International School made a salt mosaic that measures 900 square meters. They set the record to raise awareness about global warming.

Alfonso Ribeiro led thousands of people in Universal CityWalk in Hollywood in performing the Carlton Dance. The flash mob included 6,601 dancers performing simultaneously in over 300 cities across the United States and Canada. They set the record to promote the Body by Vi Challenge, America's fastest growing weight loss and fitness challenge. Read more about the feat here. A total of 2,180 groups, consisting of 15,180 attendees from 11 countries, performed a simultaneous group workout. The attempt was organized by ViSalus to promote health and fitness and raise awareness about their Project 10 Kids Campaign.

Staff and students at the Collège Saint-Bernard de Drummondville in Quebec, Canada performed the You're Gonna Miss Me Cup Rhythm. In total, 1,500 people participated in the attempt.
