Nicholas L. played Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star on the piano in 6.00 seconds using a pencil.

Red Leatherette erased the word "regret" in 51.78 seconds while listening to Pet Shop Boys' It's a Sin.

Wyatt B. broke 24 pencils in one minute using a Frisbee.

Jamie D. bit 27 pencils in 30 seconds.

Christian W. tapped a pencil 63 times in five seconds. FAILED: Does not beat current record.

Viktor O. stacked 107 pencils on a Nintendo 3DS.

Dave G. laid 1,220 pencils end to end in Beverley Library in Yorkshire, England. He set the record to celebrate National Libraries Day. Oxford University Press provided the pencils he used for the attempt.

Mason A. completed 89 catches juggling two balls one-handed while kneeling on an exercise ball, spinning a basketball on a pencil and balancing a book on his head.

Emily Wilson[] sharpened five completely unsharpened pencils in one minute, a new world record. To confirm that the pencils were sufficiently sharp, Wilson successfully popped balloons with each one when the minute was complete. The feat was achieved on November 24, 2008 at the World Record Appreciation Society’s first-ever event. It took place at Asia Roma[], a karaoke bar in New York City. Event organizers Corey Henderson and Dan Rollman were on hand to witness and document the achievement.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
