Demonstrating tremendous tongue muscle control, Sarah Reed created an unprecedented five wrinkles in her tongue, a new universal record. ‘Tongue wrinkle’ is defined as a natural, u-shaped indentation along the edge of one’s tongue. Reed performed the feat at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Playa Book of Records executive members Dan Rollman and Steve Payonzeck were present to count the wrinkles and document the record. #BM2008

Lauren Redington has a world record 14 scars on her legs, beating the existing record by eight scars. Redington’s legs were documented by Erica Hess on May 17, 2009 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

Jonathan B. had 12 fiery crashes in one game of Pole Position.

Cracka Dawn pushed the limits of open mouthdom by fitting parts of 30 fingers into her mouth at once. The record was set on Friday, August 29, 2008 at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Yasuyuki Tsumashika, an Executive Committee member from the Playa Book of Records, videotaped and witnessed the feat. #BM2008

Peter Craig locked and unlocked his iPod Touch 67 times in one minute.

Bethany Lee completed 39 dual lip curls in 10 seconds, a new world record. The original count was 40, but one curls was outside the 10 second limit. #RecordSetterBook01
