Flexibility master David Passaro wowed audience members by setting a new
world record for deepest shoulder blades. Passaro protruded his chest
forward while pulling back his shoulders to create his record-setting 3
3/4 inch blades, beating Duke of Denver’s existing 3-inch record.
This feat was performed on August 29, 2008 at the Burning Man
festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Witnesses Dan Rollman and Tonya
Zohba were on hand to take measurements and document the achievement.
Matthew J. and Matthew S. hugged each other 10 times in 1.23 seconds.
Charles' friends switched their pants in 8.30 seconds.
Erica Lutz brought her handcuffed hands from behind her back to the
front of her body in 4.1 seconds.
Lawson Clarke drank a 24-ounce can of beer in 43.84 seconds with
someone drumming on his crotch the entire time.
Clarke set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event
held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson
were present as witnesses.
NOTE: Speed drinking can be dangerous. Please use caution and have

Sam Stilson of The Record Collection ate a 15-pound watermelon
in 23 minutes, 7.08 seconds. He stipulated anyone attempting to beat the
record has to break open and eat the watermelon using only their hands
and other body parts.

Wes Turner made an “S” using sticky notes on someone else’s body in
Stride’s setting 100 records in 100 days. At the end of 100 days, we’ll
verify if you are the standing Record Holder. If you are, you’ll get
$500 for each record you managed to hold with your guile, talent, and
General caution and common sense required. We show the Stride Team at
work, but recommend that these challenges be done at home.
Suresh G. completed 200 stomach rolls in one minute, 41.17 seconds.
A student camper from iD Tech Camps Trinity University displays
amazing dexterity by twisting all her fingers one over another in 4.50
seconds, a new world record. On both hands, the upper half of each
finger, from thumb to ring finger, was contorted to rest atop the lower
half of the finger next to it.
Todd DeFazio received a wedgie measuring 22 inches in height. The
measurement was taken from the top point of his underwear to his belt
He performed the feat live on-air in the Star 100.7
Mike Ely flexed his right bicep to reach 21 inches in diameter. He set the record to celebrate RecordSetter World Record Day.
George Gaspar makes history by sticking 2222 toothpicks in his
beard, a new world record. Gaspar’s achievement beat previous record
holder BeardPick by 222 toothpicks.
The record was set on February 4, 2009 at Gaspar’s home in Sherman Oaks,
California. Ayleen Gaspar was present to witness the feat and count the
Susie Brown endured tremendous pain, but managed to triumph by setting a
new record for the world’s longest bruise: 14 1/8 inches. This bruise
demolished former record holder Kevin’s 10.4 inch bruise.
The record was set on August 30, 2008 at the Burning

Rollman of the Playa Book of Records Executive Committee were present to
videotape and measure the evidence.
Chris Uhl and Jared Shleton flexed their trapezius muscles in tandem
for 41.09 seconds, a new world record.
They set the record on June 25, 2009 in Columbus, Mississippi. Uhl’s
mother was present as a witness.
Chandler S. balanced on his right foot for 38 minutes, 12.02 seconds. He performed the feat when he was 13 years old.
Doug McManaman held a 40-pound battery straight out from his body for two minutes, 8.75 seconds.
