Susie Brown endured tremendous pain, but managed to triumph by setting a
new record for the world’s longest bruise: 14 1/8 inches. This bruise
demolished former record holder Kevin’s 10.4 inch bruise.
The record was set on August 30, 2008 at the Burning
Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Paul Mitchell and Dan
Rollman of the Playa Book of Records Executive Committee were present to
videotape and measure the evidence.
Guillaume C. performed 37 consecutive hands-out pull-ups.

Jacob B. wiggled his ears 175 times in one minute.
Corey Henderson said goodbye to his beard in style by letting a world
record 23 people contribute to shaving it off his face. Henderson used a
Wahl electric razor, and held up a generic plastic bucket to catch
the trimmings. The participants ranged from his wife Emily to several
complete strangers found on the street.
In a world record that took years to set, Fuscia L’Amour displays an
unprecedented 11 unique scars on her body. The scars were documented on
August 28, 2008 at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada.
Paul Mitchell and Dan Rollman videotaped Fuscia’s legendary body.
Flexibility master David Passaro wowed audience members by setting a new
world record for deepest shoulder blades. Passaro protruded his chest
forward while pulling back his shoulders to create his record-setting 3
3/4 inch blades, beating Duke of Denver’s existing 3-inch record.
This feat was performed on August 29, 2008 at the Burning Man
festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Witnesses Dan Rollman and Tonya
Zohba were on hand to take measurements and document the achievement.
Nikita Zeyfman created 31 arm twisties on his left arm, a world record.
Arm hair twisties are formed by taking several individual neighboring
arm hairs and spiraling them together.
Zeyfman set the record on January 7, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation
Society event in New York City. Emily Wilson and Rob Birdsong served as
Demonstrating tremendous tongue muscle control, Sarah Reed created an
unprecedented five wrinkles in her tongue, a new universal record.
‘Tongue wrinkle’ is defined as a natural, u-shaped indentation along the
edge of one’s tongue.
Reed performed the feat at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock
City, Nevada on August 29, 2008. Playa Book of Records executive members
Dan Rollman and Steve Payonzeck were present to count the wrinkles and
document the record.
Mike Ely flexed his right bicep to reach 21 inches in diameter. He set the record to celebrate RecordSetter World Record Day.
Ryan Stock inhaled three condoms through his right nostril and pulled it out through his mouth.
Alicia Weber completed 65 consecutive clapping push-ups, popping his feet off of the ground with each exercise.
A student camper from iD Tech Camps Trinity University displays
amazing dexterity by twisting all her fingers one over another in 4.50
seconds, a new world record. On both hands, the upper half of each
finger, from thumb to ring finger, was contorted to rest atop the lower
half of the finger next to it.
Matt Rivitz said the word “snickerdoodle” 51 times in one minute while
eating a snickerdoodle, a new record. The snickerdoodle (a variety of
sugar cookie containing cream of tartar and cinnamon) was made by
Rivitz’s wife Blythe.
