Group World Records

Nine people participated in a 900-meter exquisite corpse relay race, a new world record. The first participant ran 100 meters and drew part of a person on their t-shirt. The shirt was then transferred to the next relay member, who put it on and added to the first person’s drawing while running. This was done repeatedly, with each person running 100 meters, until the drawing of the person was complete. The record was set on June 17, 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The relay participants were Jessica Dunn, Lindsay Gerlach, Courtney Hacker, Flounder Lee, Paul Miller, Kurt Nettleton, Kyle Channing Smith, Victoria Son and Courtney Ware. Lamar Richcreek was present as a witness.

1456 attendees at the State Fair Meadowlands popped bubble wrap at once. The recordwas set on Sunday June 27, 2010 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Octavian Drulea led a group toast in which 17 glasses were raised at once, a new world record. One participant clinked a virtual beverage: an iBeer application for the iPhone, which he then emptied on camera. Drulea set the record on February 17, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco, California. Five women (DK, Yvette, Mitzi, Sue and Sue) laid down in a line on a lawn, a new world record. They achieved the feat on May 2, 2009 at a park in Austin, Texas. Jake and Rocket were present to document the record.

A total of 23 scouts, cub scouts, and a beaver scout from 7th Swansea Scout Group stood inside a circle 52 inches (132.08 cm) in diameter. They set the record as part of their Commonwealth Games night.

Trish Martinez and nine of his friends sat on an office chair at once. Stride’s setting 100 records in 100 days. At the end of 100 days, we’ll verify if you are the standing Record Holder. If you are, you’ll get $500 for each record you managed to hold with your guile, talent, and sheer will. General caution and common sense required. The Benevolent Citizens Project, a social enterprise in Denver, Colorado, held a Connect Four tournament on February 3, 2011 that featured 104 participants.Each participant paid an entry fee which went to a local non-profit organization.

Twitter users around the world sent a total of 224 tweets to Bena Roberts in a 24-hour period, wishing her good thoughts in her battle against cancer. Roberts, who is fighting breast cancer, had no idea the tweets were coming. The record was kicked off during a speech by URDB president Dan Rollman at the 2011 Next Conference in Berlin, Germany.
