2,961 members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community joined together to make a smiley face, a RecordSetter.com World Record. The diameter of the smiley face was 140 feet and the eyes had a diameter of 15 feet.

A total of 24 students of Travis Owen made hand masks using their fingers while sitting on a couch. They set the record as part of the Winter Blast 2012 activities with Cy-Fair Christian Church.

At a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City, Tony DeLois took word suggestions from the audience to fill in a game of Mad Libs. His mother then read the resulting story aloud. The whole process took two minutes and 22.55 seconds. A total of 528 staff and students of Saghalie Middle School joined hands and performed a pop 'n' lock armwave. They set the record during their first pep assembly of the year.

Paramore set an official RecordSetter World Record by breaking 58 vinyl records in one minute. The band set the record within their "Ain't it Fun" music video, in which they also set a record for Most World Records Set in a Music Video. NOTE: This record can be dangerous. Rob Roush led 290 people in dancing ’The Carlton’, a dance made famous by The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. On November 24, 2010, Lorna Larsen, president of Team Shan, presented to 450 students at the University of Western Ontario. Following the lecture, she inspired the entire room to say, “Team Shan Breast Cancer Awareness for Young Women” at the same time.
