Phoenix Academy students Ayana, Kaitlyn, Jaymee, and Grace passed a Magic 8-Ball around each other 48 times in 30 seconds. They set the record as part of their World Record Day.

Liam and his friends had a PlayStation network party chat that lasted 8,709 hours, 11 minutes, 14.00 seconds.

Four members of the ESI Design Team threw an exercise ball in the air using a parachute and kept it aloft for 2.75 seconds. The record was set during the Ball-Popevent at the 2010 Come Out and Play Festival[] in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. URDB official Rob Birdsong was on hand as a witness. [#COAP01][]

Nine women from The Embarcadero Rowing Club dressed in wigs, mustaches, and pirate patches and rowed a figure 8 in their whaleboat in one minute, 44.97 seconds, a new world record. The record was set on June 22, 2009 in San Francisco, Californa. Coach Oliver DiCicco was present as a witness.

Sam Klarich, Abby, Brittani, and Emily each read the first four limericks of John Ciardi’s The Hopeful Trout And Other Limericks[] in a combined two minutes, 18.92 seconds. The four limericks they read were The Elephant Boy, Goodbye Please, The Thingamajig and Keeping Busy Is Better Than Nothing.

Leo Laporte crowd surfed for one minute, 2.75 seconds while live streaming the entire feat on Twit.tv, a world record. The feat was achieved during the The Bigg Digg Shindigg held as part of the South By Southwest Interactivefestival in Austin, Texas.Universal Record Database president Dan Rollman was present to witness the record. #ATXDiggnation01

Cody Storm, Samuel Taylor, and Jason Epp recited Act 1, Scene 1of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth in 10.08 seconds.
