About

Beihu-Chenzhou-Hunan, SAR, China / October 14, 2026

Yanhao Deng of Chenzhou, Hunan, stood up five square plastic bottles in 5.24 seconds using only one hand. The bottles start lying on their sides in a row in front of a phone stopwatch propped against the wall, and the same hand starts the clock, sets each bottle upright on its base, and stops the clock once the fifth is standing. RecordSetter read 00:05.24 on the stopwatch close-up, matched it to the gap between the two taps on the video, checked that the stopwatch was reset to zero before the run and that no second hand touches a bottle, and watched all five stay standing on their own for several seconds after the stop. Five bottles, one hand, just over five seconds.
