Leigh, Lancashire, England / December 28, 2009

Craig Anderson led an online call and response chant of “Worlds Longest Cheerleading Chant” through his Facebook page that took 24 hours, 10 minutes.

Anderson requested each letter of the phrase using a “Gimme a _____” call and response format, and waited until the requested letter was provided by a friend before moving to the next letter.

The chant began on December 28th, 2009 at 9:17 PM and finished on December 29th, 2009 at 9:27 PM.

- each letter must be called out one at a time, as with a                 normal cheer
- the called out letter must be responded to by someone else before the next letter can be called
- apostrophe in "World's" not necessary
- spaces between must be called between words
- must end with the official call of "What does that spell?"           followed by someone calling back the phrase in its entirety
