About

Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States / October 25, 2026

Five-year-old Shreyan Poluri of Ann Arbor, Michigan, sat on the family couch and recited the squares of 1 through 50 from memory, starting at 1 and finishing at 2,500 in 67 seconds. The single unedited close-up shows no notes, screens or prompting, and the Council timed it on the video's own clock from his first number to his last. He briefly doubles back at 841, then cruises through the 2,000s to the finish.
