About

Prosper, Texas, United States / October 3, 2026

Six-year-old Abhinav Taluri of Prosper, Texas, stood in his living room and named all 50 U.S. states in alphabetical order, Alabama through Wyoming, in 27.85 seconds. The first grader introduces himself on camera, then recites without notes while a stopwatch on the TV behind him runs from his first state to his last, all in one continuous take. We checked the audio state by state against the alphabetical list. That is a new state roughly every half second, a pace that would trip up plenty of grown-ups.
