15 members of Wieden Kennedy’s Team Red hit blindfolded IT specialist Andy McBee with bouncy rubber balls 96 times in 30 seconds. Only balls that made contact with McBee were counted.

The record was set in Portland, Oregon on April 1, 2010 at the agency’s 28th annual Founders’ Day party. RecordSetter co-founders Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were on hand to preside over the event.

Rules

- must use bouncy balls at least 4 inches in diameter
- balls must be thrown at blindfolded individual who works in information technology
- group may be any size
- only balls that hit the individual within time limit are counted
- must stand at least five feet away from individual when throwing balls
- balls may not be thrown with intent to injure
- must follow form of current world record holder
- must provide video evidence
