Banning Lary hits 14 golf balls over a fence and into a pond in 30 seconds, a new world record. Lary used a 15-wood club, hitting mostly Titleist and Callaway golf balls.

This feat took place on April 5, 2009 at Lary’s home in Pflugerville, Texas. Valerie Lary was present to document the record and count the balls.

Now, that’s about the clearest world record ‘call em— then do em’!

What I meant in my last comment was that I used to knock golf balls in one of our ponds useing a baseball bat alot.

This is Andy Pelphrey, this is an awesome record! I used to hit golf balls with a baseball bat all the time! I was wondering if that pond had any fish in it! Looks like it would be an awesome place to try!!

  • Shame the true count over 30 seconds was actually only 13 or 14! And you hit for 40 seconds, poor timing by your off sider
