About

Cleveland, Ohio, United States / October 18, 2026

Luke Morosko of Cleveland, Ohio sat cross-legged on his living room floor with a bandana tied over his eyes and said 137 digits of pi in one minute, twirling a green stuffed turtle in one hand the whole time. A helper held a phone countdown timer in the shot, and the recitation checks out against pi from 3.14159 through 58223, the 137th decimal place, just before the alarm. Luke says the record came from his two great loves: pi and spinning stuffed turtles.
