how long does it normally take for a record to be reviewed

What do you mean? Look at the record rules: "- chin must go equal or above sword level"

Those are about as legit as it gets when it comes to chin-ups. To join the U.S. Marines, one of the minimums is doing 3 chin-ups with the same rules but with a bar. This man is doing that minimum on a sharpened katana.

Mr. Jessie, you're an impressive dude.

Even though those aren't pull-ups, I think you have to give it to him. Super impressive.

  • Canada Dan Rollman

    Extremely impressive, extremely scary.

Question: we would normally deny this form since his head doesn't go above the bar, right? Do we need to deny this attempt, or can we somehow give this type of pull up a different name?

Half pull-up? I'm no expert; someone like Clint Poore or Alicia Weber weigh in pls :) though personally I think this is awesome. If he goes above the bar, his fingers might get cut off from all his bodyweight...scary indeed
