Matt Vescovo displays a tremendous penchant for animal flirtation by delivering 10 non-nut sexual innuendos to a squirrel in one minute, a new world record. He began an 11th (“Can I enter your treehole?”), but was unable to complete it within the alloted time. Vescovo wooed the squirrel with such lines as “I’ve got a wonderful place for you to hibernate” and “I’d like to become one with nature.” He performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event held in New York City on February 11, 2009. Sarah Claspell scolded 14 photos of animals for being “too cute” in 90 seconds. Claspell runs and operates a blog called Well That’s Adorable[]. Claspell set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. [#WRAS18][]

Sasha Wizansky tasted 16 parts of a pig in one sitting. The meat came from Marlow and Daughters, and was prepared by David Webber[]. Wizansky set the record on August 12, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. The pig parts Wizansky tasted: tenderloin, flank, shoulder, spare rib, jowl, shank, loin, tongue, belly, cheek, heart, trotter, head cheese, skin, ear, and tail. [#WRAS08][]

Victor Varnado drew three identifiable animals on bar napkins in 30 seconds. Varnado took suggestions from an audience and drew as many animals as he could during the time period. When the 30 seconds were up, an individual who’d been removed from the process was brought in to look at and guess the animals. He successfully guessed three of the six animals Varnado had drawn. Varnado set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. [#WRAS17][]

Stephanie and Jonathan completed 52 snail-turkey hand gestures in 30 seconds. Each snail/turkey combo was counted as one gesture.

Christopher Sampsel held 46 stuffed animals at once.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
