BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM. Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments. Sam D-C played a total of five instruments — pocket trumpet, harmonica, electric bass, electric guitar, and a piano — at the same time.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records.
