BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM.

Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments.

INSTRUMENTS BEATBOXED: kick drum, floor tom, mid-tom, hi-tom, hi-hat, 808 snare, horn hit ‘sample’, vocal scratch/turntable, inward hand clap snare, upright bass, trumpet, metal guitar, truck horn, trap snare roll, vocal bass, throat singing, crash cymbal.

    Yeah I can verify it. You can to, even if you know nothing about music. He says at the beginning, 1-2-3-4, tap your foot to that and then you can feel the pulse continue throughout his beatboxing as the crowd claps. Count through the measures 1-2-3-4 2-2-3-4 3-2-3-4 4-2-3-4 5 to be honest I think more like 4.125 measures because a quarter note would be .25 of a bar and it sure as hell felt like an 8th note, so I would say this is the most instruments beatboxed in 4.125 4/4 measures.     This wasn't a 4-beat measure, it was 4.1 measures in 4/4 time (4 beats per measure) IN other words, it took 17 beats. The crash symbol was on the 17th beat. If you want to make this most instruments in four 4/4 measures then it's 16.
