Instrument World Records  

Jason Prover riffed on nine hip-hop songs with a trumpet while spinning in two minutes. He set the record at a RecordSetter LIVE! event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. The event was a fundraiser for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. [#RSLIVE22][]

Tai Star completed 46 hula hoop rotations while playing a ukulele and singing the refrain of the Hula Hoop Song.

Dan M. played 225 individual notes on a piano in five seconds.

BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM. Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments. INSTRUMENTS BEATBOXED: kick drum, floor tom, mid-tom, hi-tom, hi-hat, 808 snare, horn hit ‘sample’, vocal scratch/turntable, inward hand clap snare, upright bass, trumpet, metal guitar, truck horn, trap snare roll, vocal bass, throat singing, crash cymbal. Sam D-C played a total of five instruments — pocket trumpet, harmonica, electric bass, electric guitar, and a piano — at the same time.

Jasper Jacobs and four members of his family played 18 instruments at once.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Ebin George played 27 musical instruments in one hour. He set the record during a live concert at SWC Auditorium in Sharjah, UAE. George started learning to play instruments at the young age of two.

Tai Star played six instruments while standing on one hand. The instruments were conga, djembe, tankdrum, melodica, harmonica, and didgeridoo.

Tai Star took out a melodica and a harmonica out of their cases and played them while balancing on a slackline.
