On September 6, 2010, 585 fans at an an Anaheim Angels game made a charitable donation via text message, instantly raising $2925 for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Each text message made a $5 donation to the charity. The record was set at Angel Stadium of Anaheim thanks to a sponsorship from Power Balance. Groupon Japan and the Japan Dog Yoga Society organized a dog yoga event participated by 136 dogs and their owners. The event was led by Society founder, Ms. Noriko Onuma. They set the record at Toshimaen Theme Park in Tokyo to celebrate their annual family week. Read more about the feat here.
