Over 700 cancer survivors did "The Twist" in Grant Park at the 18th Annual Cancer Survivors’ Walk amp; Celebration.

During a World Record Night event in members of Union MBC Youth popped 72 balloons using nails at once.

At the 2011 Sasquatch Music Festival in George, Washington, 63 people danced in a shower at once. The record was set inside got2b’s World’s Biggest Shower, a featured festival attraction. [#SMF01][]

Twitter users around the world sent a total of 224 tweets to Bena Roberts in a 24-hour period, wishing her good thoughts in her battle against cancer. Roberts, who is fighting breast cancer, had no idea the tweets were coming. The record was kicked off during a speech by URDB president Dan Rollman at the 2011 Next Conference in Berlin, Germany. On September 6, 2010, 585 fans at an an Anaheim Angels game made a charitable donation via text message, instantly raising $2925 for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Each text message made a $5 donation to the charity. The record was set at Angel Stadium of Anaheim thanks to a sponsorship from Power Balance. Angels pitcher Scott Kazmir announced the feat in the middle of the game. RecordSetter co-founder Corey Henderson was present to oversee the feat. During The University of Texas’ 40 Acres Fest,501 people symbolically “ended cancer.” Each participant was given a card that said “cancer” and asked to finish the sentence, symbolically “ending cancer.” The feat was led by the Texas 4000 bicycle team.
