Directed by guest speaker Chris Sacca, 1006 freshmen students at Wright State University yelled the word “Livestrong!” at the same time. The record was set to raise awareness for Lance Armstrong’s cancer-related organization.

Directed by guest speaker Chris Sacca,1006 freshmen students at Wright State University yelled “We love you Jimmy!” at once. The record was directed toward television host Jimmy Fallon, whom they hope will respond on his show.

Sam Klarich, Abby, Brittani, and Emily each read the first four limericks of John Ciardi’s The Hopeful Trout And Other Limericks[] in a combined two minutes, 18.92 seconds. The four limericks they read were The Elephant Boy, Goodbye Please, The Thingamajig and Keeping Busy Is Better Than Nothing.

87 members of the Reflection of Christ Student Ministry blew bubbles at the same time, a new world record. They used Dubble Bubble gum to set the record. The feat was achieved on June 17, 2009 in Lake City, Florida. Dustin Busscher was present as a witness.

Liz Tertinek, Katie Rich, Sara Wallitt, Alysse Cottle, and Sarah Gasbarro got dressed in Snuggies, formed a five-person human pyramid and sang a verse from "99 Bottles Of Beer," a new world record.

Octavian Drulea led a group toast in which 17 glasses were raised at once, a new world record. One participant clinked a virtual beverage: an iBeer application for the iPhone, which he then emptied on camera. Drulea set the record on February 17, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco, California. Dan Rollman and Debbie Hampton were present as witnesses. #WRAS04

Five women (DK, Yvette, Mitzi, Sue and Sue) laid down in a line on a lawn, a new world record. They achieved the feat on May 2, 2009 at a park in Austin, Texas. Jake and Rocket were present to document the record.

Nine people participated in a 900-meter exquisite corpse relay race, a new world record. The first participant ran 100 meters and drew part of a person on their t-shirt. The shirt was then transferred to the next relay member, who put it on and added to the first person’s drawing while running. This was done repeatedly, with each person running 100 meters, until the drawing of the person was complete. The record was set on June 17, 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The relay participants were Jessica Dunn, Lindsay Gerlach, Courtney Hacker, Flounder Lee, Paul Miller, Kurt Nettleton, Kyle Channing Smith, Victoria Son and Courtney Ware. Lamar Richcreek was present as a witness.

13 members of the Reflections of Christ Student Ministry Group of Dallas, Georgia rocked in rocking chairs while drinking Quik Trip slushies. The world record attempt was performed on June 27, 2009 in Hiram, Georgia. Michael Childs was present as a witness.

Five people (Liz Tertinek, Katie Rich, Alysse Cottle, Sara Wallitt and Sarah Gasbarro) sipped margaritas and wore Snuggies while sitting in a bathtub, a world record.

134 people played lagerphones at the same time, a world record. The record was set in Australia at a festival celebrating 150 years of Queensland. Read more about the event here.

Gwendolyn Cassling and Hilary Hodge led 47 people in a vocal rendition of Saturday in the Park by Chicago on a Saturday in a park in Chicago[]. The feat was achieved on July, 18, 2009 at the Pitchfork Music Festival[] in Chicago. Representatives from URDB.org were present to document the record. #PF01

106 computer resource specialists performed the wave for 30 seconds. The group consisted of computer resource specialists from Virginia Beach City Public Schools.

Hollian Brooks, Nick Dipoalo, Austin Foulk, Chris Gulla, Brett Digwood and Curt Kromko each ate 15 different flavors of snack chips in one sitting. They used Pringles, Sun Chips, Middleswarth, Tostitos, Cheetos, and Doritos to achieve the feat.

371 employees of Burt’s Bees performed the wave and and then simultaneously applied lip balm. They then acknowledged the application of the lip balm by saying quot;Refreshing.quot;
