About

Beihu-Chenzhou-Hunan, SAR, China / October 11, 2026

Yanhao Deng of Chenzhou, China, built the Chinese character 是, meaning "is," out of smooth quartz on a flat Minecraft world, as one character in a giant inscription that reads "Moneybox Den is my name." The screen recording walks the character from one corner to the other, sets WorldEdit selection points on grass at either end of a 152 by 168 block box, and runs a block count that returns 7,860. RecordSetter checked that the box frames the character and that the count appears in the same continuous recording. At a meter per block, the box around this one character covers more than 25,000 square meters.
