Longest Transcontinental Limousine Journey

Timbuktu, Mali, Africa / February 4, 2008

Mark Sinclair and Suna Taymaz drove a limousine 5959 miles across three continents, a new world record. The trip began in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they bought a 1988 Lincoln Town Car Stretch Limousine. From Las Vegas, they drove to a shipping facility in New Jersey via San Francisco, California. The vehicle shipped to Ipswich, United Kingdom where they picked it up and drove through France, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Mauritania and Mali.
