Mitch, we hear you. We've worked incredibly hard to remain as consistent as possible with our moderation style throughout the competition. The honey issue was a very difficult call, but we ultimately saw no way to claim that "honey" was not a liquid.

For this category, there's a basic understanding that a house of cards is built with flat playing cards. As I said, your submission was creative, but our moderation team felt it was in violation of understood rules.

Sorry but one last comment...Does using honey or water with corn starch for the longest coffee mugslide align with the spirit of the competition?

Clever concept Mitch, but violates the spirit of the category and precedent set by others.

Mitch - you attempt was denied because it does not align with the spirit of the competition.

Thanks, Rob. So a roof is OK as long as it's just one layer?

Mick and Vernon - Will laid some cards on top of others, which we have not been allowing.

My guess: The roof idea (If that's not it, i'm sure I can get 6 decks on one roof easy with the right support), 6:33 it kinds looks as if he's bending the card (Maybe just my eyes, just pointing out what i see), and lastly, i'm not sure what qualifies at "Regulation playing cards." Could that be it, maybe?

JeffP - the video on the record stops and the audio continues around 7:36. We have no way of seeing the final card house and cannot accurately judge this record. Let us know if you re-submit the file.

Rob - can the video just be cut at 6:13 and then the record would be 58 cards and just ignore everything that happens past that mark

I'll give it a shot later today, we're about to go out and get a few things for this and other records. Including a few more deck of cards. And i'm going back to my tubby dad xD More space. Good job.
