About

FORT LUPTON, Colorado, United States / September 25, 2026

Michael Benavides of Fort Lupton, Colorado wore a red tear-away Tyvek concert wristband for 56 days, from August 1 to September 25, 2026, adding an orange band on August 9 and keeping both on the same wrist without glue or tape. He sent RecordSetter dated photo and video check-ins throughout the run. His close-up clip from September 11 and photos from September 25 show both bands faded, frayed and torn at the edges but still whole and moving freely on his wrist. Paper wristbands are made to last a weekend; these made it through most of two months.
