Joe Kan stacks 10 apples on top of one another without external support, a new world record. His attempt beat the previous record by two apples.


- no external support or adhesives permitted
- tower may not be built with anything beyond unmodified apples
- any type of traditional-sized apple varietal may be used
- must follow form of current world record holder
- must provide video evidence

  • How cute and already a great feat for such a simple (not simple I know) apple stacking.

  • The important thing to remember about this category is that it is the performance of stacking that is the record, not the stack itself. If we don't see the stacking and only see the stack, how can anyone confirm the performance happened?

      Well bananas don't stack themselves... I'd say it's not too far of a jump to assume the apples were stacked by the person who's given credit.

    What do others think? Anyone agree with Holsters Guy's suspicion about a bent coat hanger? Should we demand that future records setters in this category document their feat on video? I personally trust this attempt.
