About

Tofino, British Columbia, Canada / October 18, 2025

Bruce Shouldice left his West Kelowna, British Columbia home on September 1, 2025, driving alone in a Nissan Xterra with a small trailer in tow, and put his foot in all three of Canada's oceans in 48 days. He reached the Arctic Ocean at Tuktoyaktuk by way of the gravel Dempster Highway, dipped into the Atlantic off Prince Edward Island, and finished on a stormy October 18 at Chesterman Beach near Tofino, where a Westerly News reporter joined him for this Pacific dip. Each ocean touch appears in dated video on his WestCoastAdventuresBC YouTube channel, and the Westerly News reported the September 1 start and October 18 finish. Three flat tires and a broken axle in the far north only added to the story.
