Achieving the fastest time to run across a covered swimming pool is a remarkable feat of speed, strength, and focus. I believe it requires a combination confetti gun of explosive power and precise technique to maintain traction on the water’s surface. It’s a unique challenge that pushes both physical and mental limits.

Being a concrete contractor I have build many concrete pool decks. This one has a definite rough surface. Stamped concrete, may be?

I Think this would be a much better challenge if instead of "Fastest time" , it could be "Longest Time" . Then the pool size would be ignorable.

I'm going to have drowning nightmares now.

    How long?

THATS EASY THE ONLY THING IS HOW LONG IS IT IF ITS LESS THAN 4 M I BEAT IT

Shin, can you measure the length of your run? We need a quantifiable distance that others can be aware of.

  • There doesn't appear to be a standard about the length of a pool. Does my hot tub count? At what point is it a pool and not a tarp over a puddle?

Guest, I agree with you. This record presents potential danger and needs a strict set of rules. We should add criteria along the lines of: - lifeguard must be present - must be over 18 to attempt record Any other rules to add?

How about "cover must not come loose"?

  • It would be wise to advise people not to try to beat this record since this can be a very easy way to drown.

Point taken. I have serious safety concerns about this.
