Eli Green tears 28 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11" inch paper in one minute, a new world record. The paper was recycled afterward.

Green performed the feat on April 4, 2009 at the first annual Brooklyn World Record Day in Brooklyn, New York. The event was held by URDB in conjunction with Beam Camp. Corey Henderson was present as a witness.


- must rip each piece separately
- must use 8 1/2 x 11 paper
- must use paper meant for recycling
- must tear each piece into two pieces
